It Covers area of 54000 Square feet. The Mosque was completed in 11 years. In 1986 it was fully Built,and has capacity to accommodate approx, THIRTY THOUSAND worshipers (100,000 in its main hall, courtyard and another 200,000 in Grounds)
This is named after the late King Faisal bin Abdul Aziz of Saudi Arabia, who supported and financed the project.
